Hello Howard,

Thank you for checking with us before deleting anything. That is the safest approach.

To confirm which folder TheBrain 14 is actively using, please check the Storage location inside the app:

1. Open TheBrain 14.
2. Go to Options.
3. Choose Preferences.
4. Open System.
5. Open Storage.
6. Note the folder path shown there for where your Brains are stored.

That path is the location TheBrain is currently using. Once we know that, we can compare it to the folders you are seeing in Windows and determine whether one of them is truly unused.

If one of the folders is not the active storage location and does not contain any Brains you still need, it may be safe to delete, but I do not want to recommend removing anything until we confirm the active path first.

Please reply with the exact Storage path shown in Preferences, and if you can, also tell me the names of the two folders you are considering deleting.
