Thank you for the detailed question.

At this time, we do not have an officially supported Claude MCP or Claude Cowork connector that we can provide setup instructions for.

TheBrain does provide API access, but custom Claude, MCP, or third party agent integrations would need to be built and configured by the developer using those APIs.

For local desktop access in TheBrain 15, the local API documentation is available from inside the desktop app:

Main Menu > Settings > User > Local API > Open API Documentation

For cloud based access, the Cloud API documentation is available here:

https://api.bra.in/index.html

Please treat local desktop API access and cloud API access as separate integration paths. The local API is for interacting with the desktop app on your machine, while the Cloud API is for cloud based access. Any API keys or credentials should be handled carefully and should not be shared with third party tools unless you understand what access you are granting.

For TheBrain’s built in AI settings, the current custom API key option is for OpenAI, not Claude.
