Thank you for reaching out and good question.

Before opening your Brain in version 14, please make sure Light Sync is disabled in v15 (for each brain). Version 14 does not support Light Sync, so attachments need to be fully downloaded for backward compatibility.

In v15:

Open your Brain

Click the sync indicator near the top

Disable Light Sync for attachments

Allow it to fully download attachments before switching

You do not need to uninstall version 15. Versions 14 and 15 can both be installed on the same machine. You just cannot run them at the same time.

Once Light Sync is disabled and attachments are fully downloaded, you can open the same Brain in v14.
