Hello Beat,

Thank you for sending the log and screenshots.

That helps clarify the link issue. From your screenshot, the direct Devonthink URL is recognized as a clickable link, but the manually entered Markdown format link remains plain text.

I also understand the main workflow issue: you can paste the Devonthink link directly, but it shows the full long URL, and you want to display a cleaner link name such as “SOURCE” instead.

One thing you can try for now is editing the note in raw Markdown/text mode:

• Right click inside the note

• Select Edit as Text

• Enter the Markdown link there, for example:

SOURCE

Then save or exit the text edit view and check whether the link displays correctly.

We’ll still have the automatic Markdown link behavior reviewed with the log and screenshots.

Regarding the cursive font, that is expected behavior. In TheBrain 15, a thought name shown in cursive indicates a recently viewed thought. That is why “Trinationales Treffen” can appear in regular font when centered, but cursive when shown elsewhere in the Plex.
