Hello Bert,

Thank you for the additional screenshots, log file, and detailed observations. That information is very helpful.

To help us narrow this down further, could you please try the following two checks and let us know what you observe?

1. Test different thoughts in the same Brain
2. Please click around to several different thoughts in the Brain and try expanding the Plex to full screen from each one.
4. Let us know if:
   • The delay/freezing seems tied to a particular thought or area of the Brain, or
   • The behavior is equally slow regardless of which thought is active
5. Test in a brand-new Brain
6. Please create a new, empty Brain and try expanding the Plex to full screen there as well. Let us know whether:
   • The Plex expands normally in the new Brain, or
   • You see similar delays or freezing behavior

These comparisons will help us determine whether the issue is related to a specific Brain or thought, or to the Plex expansion behavior more generally on macOS.
