Seth Katzman, BrainBox Browser Capture #100964
https://thebrain.zendesk.com/agent/tickets/100964
Hello Seth,
Thank you for chatting with us and for walking through the BrainBox behavior.
From what you described, BrainBox itself is working because you can send files from Windows Explorer, and the browser capture flow can also create a Child Thought or Append To an existing thought.
The issue appears to be more specific: when using the browser capture page/dropdown, choosing Send to BrainBox and clicking Add does not place the item into BrainBox.
That is helpful because it narrows the problem down to that specific browser capture path rather than BrainBox as a whole.
I’m going to keep this ticket open and pass the details along for review. If we need one more thing, it would be a short screen recording showing:
• the web page or image you are trying to send
• the BrainBox dropdown with Send to BrainBox selected
• what happens after clicking Add
• BrainBox afterward showing the item did not arrive
For now, you can continue using Child Thought or Append To as a workaround when capturing from the browser, and Windows Explorer sending should still work for files.
Best regards,
John
