Thank you for sending the screenshot.

I can see that your Brain Data Folder is currently set to:

D:\Daten\Brains

TheBrain is also showing the warning about not placing the Brain Data Folder on a network share, removable drive, or synchronized folder.

If D:\Daten\Brains is on a normal internal local drive, that should generally be fine. However, if that D: drive is an external USB drive, NAS/network location, or a folder monitored by backup/sync software, it could explain why the Notes.md modified date was being updated outside of TheBrain.

Could you please confirm what this D: drive is?

• Is it an internal local drive?
• Is it an external USB/removable drive?
• Is it a NAS/network drive?
• Is this folder included in any backup or sync software such as OneDrive, Dropbox, Google Drive, iCloud, or similar?
• Is any antivirus/endpoint protection actively monitoring this folder?

The fix in 15.0.576 should make the Notes editor focus issue harmless even if another process updates the file timestamp, but this information will still help us understand what triggered it on your machine.

After installing 15.0.576 or later, please test the same note-editing workflow again and let us know if the focus loss still occurs.
