Hello John,

Thank you for the update, and I’m glad to hear the workaround helped you get Cloud > File > Import working again.

On the “+” behavior, you are exactly right. In TheBrain’s text outline import format, a line that begins with a plus sign is interpreted as a web link attachment, not a thought name. So if you want a thought name to start with a plus sign, you will need to remove it or use a different character.

"Each line becomes a thought.

• Indentation created using tabs shows hierarchical relationships.
• Line starting with - (dash) are added as notes.
• Lines starting with + (plus) are added as Web link attachments.
• Labels can be added to a thought by separating them with | (pipe) on the same line as the name."

If you are still seeing other issues with the import after removing those leading “+” characters, please reply with the next few lines around where it stops or behaves unexpectedly (just a small excerpt is fine), and what you expected to happen versus what you’re seeing.
