Hello Matt,

Thank you again for the details you’ve shared so far. I checked with our engineering team, and we’d like to gather a little more information so we can pinpoint what’s causing the delay you’re seeing when clicking “Navigate to Attachment.”

When you have a moment, could you please send us two items:

1. An uncropped screen recording
2. Please record your entire TheBrain 15 window (not just the dialog box) while you reproduce the issue.
3. This helps us see:
4. • which thought TheBrain is navigating to
5. • whether the thought has a very large note, a high number of links, or multiple attachments
6. These factors can affect how quickly a thought loads.
8. A quick comparison test
9. Please try this on a completely empty thought in your Brain:
10. • Create a new empty thought
11. • Drag in a URL
12. • Drag the same URL again so the “already attached” dialog appears
13. • Click Navigate to Attachment
14. Let us know whether the delay still happens there, or only on the specific thought you showed earlier.

Once we have the recording and the results of the comparison test, we’ll be able to give you the next steps.
