Thank you for the thoughtful message, I’ll address both points separately.

Bookmark area size (suggestion)

At the moment, the size of the bookmark area isn’t user-adjustable. Since this is a layout and customization request, the best place to suggest it is on our UserVoice page, where feature ideas are reviewed and other users can add their votes:

Text selection using Shift + arrow keys (possible bug)

I tested this behavior in the current TheBrain 15 build and wasn’t able to reproduce the issue, but that doesn’t rule out a version-specific or platform-specific problem.

To help us narrow this down, could you please let me know:

• Which version of TheBrain you’re using
• Your operating system
• Whether this happens in all notes or only specific ones

If you can reproduce it again our latest release, please try once more and then send the Output.log right afterward so we can take a closer look. A screen recording would be most useful.
