Creating Parent Link from Top Gate #101192

Hello Francisco,

Thank you for sending the video. That helped us understand the exact sequence.

From the recording, the issue appears to happen when you drag from the top gate, type the target thought name, then right-click the search result and choose Create Parent from that context menu. That path can leave the linking operation in an unfinished/suspended state.

The intended flow is:

1. Drag from the top gate of the thought.
2. Release to open the parent search/create field.
3. Type the name of the existing thought you want to link to. (Or type in the name for a new thought > Hit Enter)
4. Left-click the matching thought result, or use Enter / the plus button to confirm the link.

You should not need to right-click the search result during that process.

That said, the app should not get stuck in an odd state when that right-click/context-menu path is used, so we are going to write that up for review.
