Tables in TheBrain are created using Markdown, so there are a few formatting limitations. To help us look into this, please attach the notes.md file for the Thought where the issue is occurring. You can find it by opening the Thought, then pressing Ctrl+Shift+F on Windows or Cmd+Shift+F on Mac to open the containing folder.

It would also be helpful if you could include the exact text you’re pasting, so we can try to replicate the behavior on our end.

If this turns out to be a limitation of the current Markdown engine, we’ll do our best to suggest a workaround. Version 15 of TheBrain will include an updated engine that may handle this better, though we can’t guarantee specific table code changes.
