I’m sorry about that. We had two similar BrainBox reports being reviewed, and it looks like the details got mixed up in the previous reply.

You are correct that this is not a browser troubleshooting issue. We reviewed this again and were able to reproduce the behavior you showed in your recording: when dragging a file into BrainBox in the desktop app, the plus/drop indicator appears, but the item is not actually added.

We have this written up as a bug now and the team will be looking into it.

For now, dragging files directly into Thoughts should still work, as you mentioned. The issue appears to be specific to drag-and-drop into the BrainBox panel.
