Hello Jan,

Yes, that is correct.

When you use Upload File in TheBrain 15, the file is automatically imported into the Brain and attached to the selected Thought.

If you prefer to use drag and drop, that behavior can also be configured. You can adjust how files are handled when dragging them into TheBrain under:

Settings > User > On Drag and Drop

There you can choose whether dragged files are copied into the Brain, linked externally, or prompt each time.
