Thank you for your patience while we tested this further. We tried to reproduce the behavior you described using your Notes.md and Word document under the same environment (TheBrain 14.0.110.0 and later builds) but were unable to trigger the same exception or formatting issue.

It appears this may be a very specific case limited to your local setup or environment. If you happen to notice a consistent pattern, for example, certain steps or timing that reliably cause the crash, a short screen recording would be extremely helpful for us to investigate further.

Otherwise, upgrading to v15 should eliminate the problem entirely, as that version includes a rebuilt attachment handling system that addresses issues like this.
