Hello Mark!

Thank you for sending the Notes.md file. I see what you’re referring to. The Table of Contents (TOC) you inserted is a dynamic preview of the headings in your note, it updates automatically as you structure your content.

While you can't edit the TOC text directly, you can remove it like any other line of text using Backspace or Delete.
