New iOS update and clarification on using thoughts #94993
https://thebrain.zendesk.com/agent/tickets/94993
Hello again,
We’re delighted to hear that you’re enjoying the new iOS update! We’ve reintroduced the drag-and-drop feature and Apple Pencil support, along with enhanced BrainBox functionality, fixes for sync errors, and updates to AI and UI for a smoother, more intuitive experience.
Regarding your scenario:
- Top Gear would serve as the Parent thought.
- The trio (Jeremy, Richard, and James) are directly associated with Top Gear, so you can either:
- Add them as Child thoughts under Top Gear, or
- Create a Child thought named Hosts and place the trio as Grandchild thoughts beneath it.
A great example of a Jump thought would be Grand Tour, as it isn’t directly under Top Gear but features the same cast. You can also link the trio to Grand Tour for cross-referencing (Example: Click on Jeremy Thought > Towards the top of the thought you can drag and link it to Grand Tour. This makes Jeremy a child of both the parent thoughts Top Gear and Grand Tour)
Let us know if this clarifies things or if you need further assistance!
Best regards,
John
