Hello Alex,

Thank you for sending the Output.log and for tying this back to the forum thread.

I’ll review this as three separate items so we do not mix the symptoms together:

• Multiple thought paste failing when copying from the Plex selection window into another Brain

• A specific Notes.md file causing TheBrain to stop responding for a minute or so at a time

• The macOS freezing issue where the Plex stops responding and Dekotron processes remain at high CPU

The details from the forum post are helpful, especially that this happens when pasting into a different Brain, does not happen in a sample Brain, and can happen with different numbers of selected thoughts.

One thing I want to confirm: I can see the Output.log attached here, but I do not want to miss the Notes.md file you mentioned. If that Notes.md file did not come through, could you please zip it and send the zipped copy as an attachment?

For the macOS freeze and Dekotron CPU issue, the Output.log from the same session should help. If it happens again, please send a fresh Output.log from immediately after the freeze and restart sequence, before doing much else in the app.

I’ll bring the log and sample file back for review.
