From what you've described, it sounds like the duplication of link types may have happened during the Thought copy process. When pasting content between Brains, a popup usually appears asking whether to skip importing existing link types. If that prompt is missed or dismissed, duplicates can be introduced, even if the link types appear identical in format.

This can also happen if you're working with three or more Brains, and are pasting content into a target Brain from multiple sources, each carrying their own version of similar link types. That scenario can quietly introduce new link type entries that look the same but are technically separate.

If this doesn’t match what you experienced, or if you're sure the prompt didn’t appear, could you please record a short video showing the steps you're taking when copying Thoughts between Brains? That would help us reproduce the behavior on our end and see whether something else is going on.
