No email default windows OS error #97334
https://thebrain.zendesk.com/agent/tickets/97334
Hello Louise,
Thank you for reaching out.
The message you're seeing is coming from Windows, not TheBrain itself. It typically appears when trying to open an email file (most likely a .eml file) and there is no default mail client set up on your system.
To resolve this, please follow the prompt by opening Microsoft Outlook and setting it as your default mail app. You can also do this manually by:
- Opening the Settings app in Windows.
- Navigating to Apps > Default apps.
- Scrolling down to Email and selecting Outlook as the default.
Once that's set up, the file should open correctly when clicked.
Let me know how it goes!
Best regards,
John
