https://thebrain.zendesk.com/agent/tickets/95691
Hello again, Sataj,
Thank you for reaching out! Based on the details provided, it seems the issue may be related to a transient error in the Notes Editor. To address this, we recommend performing a MetaDB reset, which can help resolve database-related inconsistencies.
Please follow these steps to perform a MetaDB reset on Windows:
- Navigate to the MetaDB folder:
- Go to:
C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Local\TheBrain\MetaDB. - If the
AppDatafolder is hidden, enable hidden files:- Open File Explorer and click View at the top.
- Select Options, then go to the View tab.
- Under Advanced settings, choose Show hidden files, folders, and drives and click OK.
- Go to:
- Locate the file named
TheBrainMeta.db.
|
- Rename it to
TheBrainMeta.db.old.
- Restart TheBrain and log in again.
This process will rebuild the MetaDB and may resolve the issue. If the problem persists or you encounter any additional errors, please let us know and provide the latest output log so we can investigate further.
Thank you for your patience, and let us know how it goes!
Best regards,
John
