Thank you for your patience, and for the clear description and screenshot you provided earlier.

We’ve reviewed this internally. Based on how TheBrain 14 was originally built, this appears to be a macOS window-management quirk specific to that version when switching from a dual-display setup back to a single screen. At this point, TheBrain 14 is no longer being modified to address this class of behavior.

The good news is that this window-positioning issue should be resolved in TheBrain 15, which is built on a newer framework and handles display changes differently. If you haven’t already, we recommend trying the latest TheBrain 15 build to see if the behavior is improved or no longer occurs.

In the meantime, using Option plus the green window button, as you’ve discovered, is the correct macOS workaround in v14 to bring the window back into view.
