Thank you very much for sharing the Dropbox link, and truly, we appreciate your willingness to let us examine the Brain.

Before we download the full 15.5 GB archive, I’d like to suggest a slightly more focused approach.

Given the size of the file and the fact that this Brain likely contains a significant amount of personal and operational data, it would actually be much more efficient (and safer from a privacy standpoint) if we could isolate just the affected branch where the duplicate attachment behavior is occurring.

If you’re willing, could you:

1. Create a new temporary Brain
2. Copy the specific thought (or branch) where the duplicate attachment issue occurs into that new Brain
   • Right-click → Copy Thought (include downline if relevant)
3. Confirm the behavior still reproduces in the new Brain
4. Export that smaller Brain as a .brz and share it with us

That would allow us to examine the exact attachment structure and metadata involved without needing the entire 15+ GB dataset.

If for any reason the issue does not reproduce in the isolated Brain, let us know, that itself would be an important diagnostic clue.
