I’ve reviewed this with our development team, and the error you saw appears to be a harmless Windows-level issue related to Desktop Composition (a system graphics feature). It can occasionally trigger an “unexpected error” even when the app is idle, and it does not indicate data loss or any problem with your Brain.

For now, you can safely ignore it if it happens again. If you start seeing this repeatedly or if TheBrain becomes unstable, please let me know and we’ll take a closer look.
