Hello Adrian,

No problem, the wording can be confusing, and it’s in a different place depending on the version you’re using.

If you’re using TheBrain 15:

1. Open TheBrain.
2. Click the menu (☰ / burger icon) in the top-left.
3. Go to Brain.
4. Select Perform Data Integrity Scan.

If you’re using TheBrain 14 or earlier:

1. Open TheBrain
2. Click File
3. Click Utilities
4. Select Data Integrity Scan

A Data Integrity Scan checks your Brain for internal inconsistencies and repairs them when possible. It does not delete your data.

If you’re unsure which version you’re on, you can check by opening Help > About TheBrain.
