Thank you for reaching out and for explaining how you prefer to work with your Brains.

You’re absolutely right, your Pro license for TheBrain 14 already gives you full access to all the Pro features locally. If you prefer to keep your Brains stored on a single computer and not use cloud sync, your existing license is completely sufficient. You can continue saving .brz backups or copies of your Brain to another drive for safekeeping.

If you ever decide you’d like to sync or share your Brain across devices, you would need to add Cloud Services (comes with AI feature). The most cost-effective way to do that is through the Pro Combo plan, which bundles both the Pro features and cloud sync for $159 per year. The standalone Cloud Services plan is available separately but is priced higher at around $180 per year.

Also, your existing Pro license includes a free upgrade to TheBrain 15, so you’ll automatically have access to the latest desktop version once it’s released.
