Thank you for the detailed feedback.

For TheBrain 15 beta builds, the public download page may not always point to the newest update build. If you prefer to install manually instead of using the in app updater, please use this direct Windows update link:

https://thebrain.com/download-windows-update?v=15.0.544.0

If the updater fails again, especially if the previous version is removed but the new installer does not complete, please send us the Output.log from right after the failure.

To find the log:

• Press Windows key + R

• Paste this path and press Enter:

%LocalAppData%\TheBrain\Logs

• Attach the file named Output.log to your reply

If there is any installer error message or Windows popup, please send a screenshot as well.

I’ll also note your feedback about the updater flow, installer visibility, and install location behavior.

For the thought icon crop or alignment request, the best place to submit that feature idea is our UserVoice page, where other users can also vote and comment:
