No worries, that can happen when moving links around in the Plex.

The main thing is that you are not deleting or recreating the thought itself. You are only changing its relationship links, so the existing notes and content should still remain with the thought.

If it is now connected in the wrong place, please send me a screenshot of the current view and let me know where you want that thought to end up. I can help walk you through which link to remove and where to reconnect it.
