Thank you for the update! I’m glad to hear that the laptop overheating issue has been resolved. Let’s continue to monitor its performance over the next couple of weeks. (Your i7 12th Gen Unlocked is a beefy and power-hungry processor, despite that, it is a fine, capable and beautiful device, you made the right choice to check the vents and cooling)

Based on our investigation, the times when your CPU experiences the most stress appear to be during searches, especially when more than 1,000 results are generated at once.

For now, it’s best to leave it as is, but if you notice overheating again despite the upgrades and cleaning you’ve done, you can proceed with a MetaDB reset as I mentioned earlier. Just be sure to back up your Brains either by creating a Brain Archive (.brz) or syncing them to the cloud. This ensures you can recover your data after the process is complete.
