Brain 15 - Access link to offline thought folder #99025
https://thebrain.zendesk.com/agent/tickets/99025
Hello,
Thank you for raising this, I understand why it might look like the option was removed.
The ability to open a thought’s folder is still available and has not been intentionally removed. It is just a bit less visible in version 15 compared to earlier versions.
You can access the thought folder in either of these ways:
- Keyboard shortcut:
- Press Ctrl + Shift + F (Windows) while the thought is selected.
- Context menu:
- Right-click the thought and choose Open Thought Folder from the menu.
This opens the local folder for that thought, just as before, and can still be used for advanced workflows like inspecting attachments or working with custom icons.
We understand that some users rely on this for specific tasks, and your feedback about making it easier to discover or placing it in a more prominent context menu is completely reasonable. I’ll make sure this is passed along to the team.
Thank you for taking the time to explain your use case, it’s exactly this kind of feedback that helps us refine the interface as version 15 continues to evolve.
Best regards,
John
