Structure of Fungi
- Spores: reproductive cells that carries embryonic fungus to a new nutritious environment to grow.
- Sporangium: produce and store spores for asexual reproduction.
- Hyphae: long, thread-like tubular filaments that form the body of most fungi. They support sporangium and perform extracellular digestion to gain nutrient.
- Mycelium: a network of hyphae.
