Fungi
Fungi are a group of eukaryotic organisms that does not belongs to animal nor plant. They can be multicellular (e.g. mushroom & mould) or unicellular (e.g. yeast).
- They feed via extracellular digestion, and they can be parasitic (feed by living host) or saprotrophic (feed on decaying organisms), which made them an important part of decomposer in food chain by releasing nutrients back to the environment.
