Gifted

Those who are gifted here in Bulgaria will, in all probability have been in the educational system for some time.

Gifted children can have their giftedness reduced if they are in an environment where they are not allowed to be creative, if they are bored and where there intensity and needs have not been understood and their needs met.

If we are lucky, we will catch a growing number of our gifted children early. For those who are identified late, they may already have been identified as troublesome or difficult to deal with students, poor performers, outsiders, lacking communication abilities and far more negative adjectives.

Support for those identified as gifted will ideally be found inside the family and in one of our centers if not in school.
