In Processor

When we talk about computer processors, the term "hertz" helps us understand how fast the processor can work. Each "cycle" or tick in a processor's clock lets it do a bit of its job, like running a program or saving a file. More cycles in a second mean the processor can do more in the same amount of time.

For instance, a processor with 3 GHz (gigahertz) speed does 3 billion cycles each second. Each cycle might be a small task or part of a bigger task, depending on the processor's design. Generally, more hertz means a faster processor, as long as everything else like the design and software are the same. So, knowing the hertz of a processor helps us figure out how quickly it can handle different computer tasks.
