Actionable Knowledge and Solutions Chess

Following up on the idea of'silver buckshot as just explored in the prior thought, what if we avoided trying to pick the right technology or combination of technologies with which to tackle climate change, instead focusing on moving a wide variety of options forward whenever the right opportunity presents itself? Think of the hundreds of potential solutions in play as pieces on a large chessboard. At any point in time and space some of those pieces will face better opportunities to move forward on the board than other pieces on the board. What if the existence of those "better opportunities" could be quickly identified, communicated, and acted upon by a broad constituency of climate actors. This is the idea of actionable knowledge and Climate Chess. It is definitely not the approach that has characterized climate change mitigation efforts to date, but might be the approach that can make the best difference going forward. You can explore these ideas further through the thoughts below.
