I have transitioned to a new professional role that broadens my ability to link weather/climate to financial decision-making beyond commodity trading. I’ve been working closely with the EarthRisk team as well the team at <a href="http://www.verisk.com/">Verisk Analytics</a> for the past year-or-so and the results of those discussions have now come to fruition!! I have transitioned from the EarthRisk leadership team to a new role as part of the <a href="http://www.veriskclimate.com/">Verisk Climate</a> leadership team in San Francisco. I will drive Verisk Climate’s innovation and performance for weather and climate-based analytics applied to Capital Markets. I’m focused on insurance-linked securities, commodities suppliers/consumer and market impact analysis for investors. My main duty is to pioneer our strategy and development of advanced analytics and customer-driven solutions. I am building a team to create opportunities for asset and cat bond fund managers, corporations exposed to volatile commodity prices and investors who leverage environmentally-driven market analysis. </p>
