Version Number & Release Notes Now Available in Web Client
Feature Request: Provide Release Notes for Web Client Updates
Many users (myself included) were completely unaware of the most recent, and dramatic, web client update (i.e., the switch to the new note editor in March of 2020) until:
- we accidentally stumbled upon the new editor in the web client or
- we heard about the unexpected and unannounced changes in TheBrain's forum.
For those of us who are using and relying on the web client for either personal or public web projects, Immediate (if not advance) notification in TheBrain forum about any significant web client updates, along with the publication of a release notes summary of web client updates and changes would be extremely helpful, especially since there currently is so much uncertainty about the timing, extent and potential impact of Future Web Client Changes.
Status
- Multiple forum requests

- 03.26.20: MZ request submitted in attached Help Desk ticket
- 03.30.20: Jay said he would mention this request to the team
- 03.31.20: Ticket closed with no resolution on the web client release note request
- 09.29.21: Request in forum for announcements (or release notes) related to web client updates and changes
- 10.06.21: After yet another unannounced change in the web client, one more request has surfaced in the forum for updates about changes in the web client, which I fully and completely support.
- 10.20.22: Still more unexpected changes in the web client (see links below) > Matt assured us the Web client is now TheBrain Team's current focus after the release of TheBrain 13 ~ at which point I asked where/how we will be notified about web client changes, but no one from TB Team replied. . . .
