Sample Quick Drop Thought

Begin by creating an "InBox" thought within your brain. This thought can be pinned for quick and easy access, and can be used as a simple alternative to the BrainBox.

Optionally, you can also create one (or some) annual or topical "Quick Drop" thoughts, and assign them a standard type and/or icon. See the green "Plus" sign on this sample thought in the plex.

I personally, locate my "Quick Drop" thoughts as children underneath my main "InBox".

When I'm in a hurry and don't have time to fully integrate resources into my brain, this strategy allows me to quickly drop content into my brain, either directly into the "InBox" or under the appropriate topical "Quick Drop" thought.

Later on, it is easy to find this "quick drop" content and integrate these thoughts into my brain by assigning the appropriate types, tags and related links.

In the meantime, items added as "Quick Drop" thoughts will remain accessible in TheBrain's search and report features, which makes it quick-and-easy to find, link and update them on the fly later on.
