New Features
✦ Instant Search < MZ Review > Instant Search Discussion
- Matching thought names and aliases appear as soon as you press a key, and the top match is selected right away, so you can type a name and press Enter to activate it without waiting
- Results are ranked to put the thought you are most likely looking for first: exact name matches, then thoughts currently shown in the plex, then thoughts you have recently created or edited, then recently visited ones, then everything else. Often a single character is enough to bring up the thought you want
- Instant Search is not available for brains with more than a million thoughts; there, results appear after a short delay as before
✓ Fixes and Improvements
↑ Inserting a thought link in a note after finding the thought by one of its aliases uses that alias as the link text < MZ Confirm
↑ In notes, when the editor does not have focus, the remembered cursor position is shown as a dashed marker so it is not mistaken for the real cursor
✓ Fixed: A thought created from a web address sometimes kept the site's domain as its name instead of the page title, and page titles were not picked up on some sites
✓ Fixed: "Note Save Failed" could appear after undoing a note edit
✓ Fixed: Pasting a Markdown table on its own into a note inserted nothing
✓ Fixed: Superscript or subscript applied to a whole word, or right after a space, was lost when the note was reopened
✓ Fixed: Switching tabs moved the cursor from the note you were typing in to the search box
✓ Fixed: Pressing the Focus Notes shortcut left the search results open over the note
✓ Fixed: Opening the app with the content area maximized and the plex in Outline layout showed every thought as "…" until the app was restarted
✓ Fixed: The Properties dialog opened without the thought name selected
✓ Fixed: Clicking the Aliases button in the thought properties opened the Properties dialog instead of revealing the aliases field
