Custom Note Formatting Options

So far I'm very pleased with TB15, and I'm beginning to compile a list of the new features I really like. It's clear TB15 has been a monumental update, and I very much appreciate all the time, thought and effort that has gone into the design and development of this new version.

However, I do have one (not insignificant) concern about the fact that we have, apparently, lost the ability to manually customize the display of our notes: font style, link color, etc.

~ Instead, we now seem to have only a variety of pre-designed (pre-styled) display templates, and I haven't found any options for more granular customization and styling.

Is the custom formatting we had in TB14 (or something similar) a feature that will be making a return?

My own strong preference is to be able to choose my own my fonts, note styling, link colors, etc. not only for my own use, but especially for any brains I will be sharing publicly.
