Dead Internet Theory: AI is taking over the Internet ~ and people are being herded into social media sites
The "answers" we get from AI are confabulated.
- Looking for answers in AI is like killing a bird and then trying to "read" it's entrails.
- People falsely assume AIs actually are intelligences, or consciousnesses that know things.
What AI can do, at best, is give impressionistic answers, and create impressionistic art.
The internet is now a self-propelling unconscious system that is also programming you. Even YouTube content is now filled with algorithmically generated content.
AI is not even that good right now. It basically does parlor tricks.
