STUDY
The performer investigates a shape rather than merely displaying it.
Questions include:
- Where is my weight?
- What is the distance between limbs?
- Where is tension?
- Which lines are visible?
- How does this form relate to architecture?
- How does another form alter it?
RESPONSE
In paired work, the existing shape supplies information to the next performer.
The second artist does not need to invent independently.
They respond to what is already present.
