Object → touch → drive

Animation, food, mouth, objects, metamorphosis, disgust, desire and compulsion make the inanimate object move and acquire agency-like behaviour.

The object does not literally possess an unconscious. Rather, the object acquires drive as an artistic proposition: it appears to desire, devour, resist or transform.

Tactility destabilizes vision through imagined touch, texture, stickiness, hardness, softness, chewing and pressure. Tactile image connects body, materiality, haptic experience and somatic knowledge.

The connection to EPHIA is explicitly a conceptual resonance / indirect connection, concerning tactility, material animation, object–body relation and non-rational material knowledge—not documented influence.
