ORDINARY / EXTRAORDINARY
ORDINARY / EXTRAORDINARY
The workshop placed ordinary behaviour beside heightened theatrical action.
ORDINARY may involve recognisable object use, pedestrian action, social behaviour, practical task and daily life.
EXTRAORDINARY may involve altered scale, intense physicality, abstraction, unexpected transformation and enlarged emotional action.
They may coexist, interrupt one another, transform gradually or create contrast.
The extraordinary remains connected to shared physical logic rather than arbitrary decoration.
