WAYFINDING / NOT NAVIGATION
WAYFINDING / NOT NAVIGATION
Navigation follows a predetermined abstraction.
Wayfinding develops through:
- landmarks;
- encounters;
- stories;
- attention;
- changing conditions;
- relation to fellow travellers.
The workshop itself was framed as wayfinding.
The final work was not fully known before the process began.
