REPETITION / MORPHOSIS / POLYRHYTHM
Repetition makes a pattern visible. Duration prevents the pattern from remaining identical.
Through repetition:
- small changes appear;
- loops transform;
- relations emerge;
- several rhythms coexist;
- a group composition develops.
MORPHOSIS names continuous transformation of one repeated form into another.
POLYRHYTHM allows multiple temporal structures to coexist.
