Potential Issue

ArchiMate is getting less context-specific at the element level, as seen by removal of, for example, Business and Application Services, replaced by just Services.

The CSDM still makes that distinction, in particular for Services, which will make mapping a challenge

It's too early to see how this will shake out, but one approach may be tools / AI -based where the mapping is determined / maintained by examining the elements with context set by appropriate relationships
