Bouchard, Kristofer

Sep 25, 2016 01:01 PM key tool is micro ECoG

essence: it takes ultra high temporal and spatial resolution to determine functional organization in the CNS. (if you don't have it, you're guessing!)

Res. sci at Dept of Energy: Berkeley Lab (LBL)

email : see his lab's website.

I've heard him twice. He is NOT to be missed! Kristofer is one of the BEST at what he does...

sensorimotor networks underlying speech at v high spatiotemporal resolution.

Factoid: Kristofer himself has an obvious speech impediment. He tells me that NONE of his audience members has ever asked him about the etiology. (Only I have the chutzpah (impolite brassiness) to plow ahead... but he appreciates it... he never gets a chance to address it. Etiology for his case is unknown.)
