I did the Lipids online course from Baylor College. Good collection of slides. 
Niacin really slows progression of CIMT: carotid intima/media thickness. 
Plan: wait for torcetrapib: on the mkt in 2008. 
Q: how about inositol hexanicotinate? </p>
