A Category

You can use a thought to simply group other thoughts together under it. When you do this I find it helpful to give it a name I can easily remember to search with, rather than a strictly categorical name. I've found that using keywords that I commonly use when actually thinking about the grouping helps me find the information quicker when using instant search. If your brain database will be used by multiple people (a team brain for example), use words that are common to the team instead.

Below is a category I use for grouping a type of movies toghether, and another for grouping both science fiction books and movies. Notice I'm using the comma trick. This means that I can search "genre" to find all my genres, "action" to find just action genre movies, or "gen act" to quickly narrow down to the Action Movie genre.
